Request-A-Copy
The Library provides a photocopy service for affiliates who, due to time constraints, are not able to photocopy material that the library owns. The service is $5.00 per item, up to 20 pages and 20 cents per additional page. General public patrons also have access to this service; however, prepayment of $16.00 per article must be made. Normal turnaround time for this service is 24 hours. Affiliated users may complete the online Request-A-Copy Form that has an electronic submission delivery format to facilitate the request process.

Informatics Lab
A self-service computer facility is located in the Library. A GatorLink account is required to login. All UF Faculty, Students, and Staff should have an active Gatorlink account. All other users may request a guest GatorLink account from the service desk staff. Internet access, the Microsoft Office Suite, numerous databases, and full-text journals and textbooks are available. A copy card is required for printing at $.10 a page. The library also offers scanning equipment to scan images and documents for your research needs. Ask at the service desk for assistance.

Interlibary Loan
The Library makes every attempt to locate and borrow materials for study, research, or teaching. Only affiliated users are eligible for this service. This service is free of charge for University of Florida personnel. There is a base charge of $14.00 for non-UF library affiliates. The normal turn around time for interlibrary loan articles is 1-3 days and 1-2 weeks for books. Rush requests for patient care or other emergency situations may be transmitted via fax for a $5.00 surcharge. More information about the Interlibrary Loan process is available at borland.ufl.edu/services-forms/interlibrary-loan. Please note that books borrowed from other libraries must be returned promptly, in accordance to the lending library’s required due date; no renewals are feasible on interlibrary loan materials.
